Cardiorespiratory event monitors are used to record and document events that occur over a set period of time. Synergy-E software is used to review and validate the recorded events and alarms, view compliance, produce reports and trend patient progress over time.
Participants will learn to:

  • Define key terms associated with infant event monitoring
  • Understand pathologies that warrant use of event monitoring
  • Learn how to identify and interpret apnea based events
  • Demonstrate analysis and scoring of event recordings

 

This online course can be completed anywhere, anytime, from the workplace or at home, wherever there is internet access.

  • The program has no time limits but will take approximately two hours to complete the training and quiz.
  • The quiz has a pass mark of 80%.
